Reliable and Low Maintenance
The system is designed for continuous industrial operation with routine maintenance requirements. How Does a PSA Nitrogen Generator Work?
Air Compressor → Air Treatment System → PSA Nitrogen Generator → Nitrogen Buffer Tank → Nitrogen Booster → Nitrogen Storage / Application
The PSA Nitrogen Generator uses compressed air as the raw material.
First, atmospheric air is compressed and treated through an air purification system to remove moisture, oil and solid particles. The purified compressed air then enters the PSA adsorption towers containing Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS).
Under pressure, the CMS preferentially adsorbs oxygen and other unwanted components, while nitrogen passes through the adsorption bed as the product gas.
The system normally uses two adsorption towers operating alternately. While one tower is producing nitrogen, the other tower is depressurized and regenerated. The adsorption and regeneration cycles are automatically controlled to provide a continuous supply of nitrogen.
This process allows nitrogen to be generated directly on site without the need for frequent delivery and storage of nitrogen cylinders or liquid nitrogen.
